Tube Welding Systems

Indtech (India) offers Tube Welding Systems using TIG, plasma and laser welding equipment from Dreistern-Werk Maschinenbau GmbH & Co KG, Germany. These are for manufacture of tubings and also for square, rectangular and other closed section profiles. They use the final radius roll forming for manufacture of round tubing which gives: optimum guiding of strip edges; and minimum possible stretching and no deforming of strip edges, all essential condi- tions for consistently good weld quality and tube straightness. The welding process is optimised with the help of leading spe- cialists in the welding field. If required, proven continuous on- line grinding equipment is available for dressing the weld exter- nally. Equipment for "ironing" the weld internally and external- ly, without removing metal can be supplied if desired. The weld systems fulfil all requirements of achieving contractual weld qualities up to a weld joint factor E=1.0. Other features: roll tooling combinations for different tube diameter and wall thick- nesses; quick tooling changeover; easily exchangeable individual rolls; modular tooling change; and, quick-change tooling with exchangeable modules. The company also offers fully tested and ready to run roll toolings for tube mills.
