Tube & Bar Machine

Sinico of Italy specialise in the manufacture of multistation transfer machines for the cutting-off of tubes and bars, and also for the double-ended machining of the parted-off workpieces. The machine draws the tube or the barstock automatically from a stack, and feeds it accurately up to a positive stop. At the end of the tube or the bar length it automatically discards the end-piece and draws the next length. It can carry out the operations of: parting; facing; OD/ID chamfering; turning; boring; milling; threading; swaging; land produce flats by cross-milling. It can also have in-process gauging systems for length or dia. The machine is suitable for round, square, hexagonal, or profiled sections. It can come equipped also for the processing of single components like forging, even those of irregular shapes, loaded automatically through a manipulating robot. In all the cases, the components are indexed vertically through 90?, and around in each cycle over 4 work-stations. These machines can take the components in the dia range of 10 to 60 mm and produce the finished length from 80 to 450 mm. The applications are in the auto components sector. Sinico has produced over 1,000 machines of this type.
