Plunge Facing & Centring Machine, Double Ended

Microtech Machines offers tooled up double ended Plunge Type Facing and Centring Machines. Main features include: hydraulically operated quill type head stock which is driven by electric motor with change vee belt pulley set; job is clamped in self centring vice operated by hydraulic motors; long life of the machine with alignment maintained through the use of heavily ribbed cast iron bed; plunge facing and centring is done by specially designed tool holder unit which includes standard cutting inserts tools and centre drill holding arrangement for ease of handling; and the machine is controlled by hydraulic power pack and PLC electrical unit. Optional accessories include VFD spindle drive, central lubrication unit, chip conveyor, special purpose tools unit for boring, chamfering, end shaft turning, etc. Total machine power is 8.2 HP. Four models are available to cover job lengths from 200 mm to 2000 mm. Plunge facing dia is 15 to 60 mm, centre drill size A2.5 (B1.6 ) to A6.3 (B5.0).
