Microtech Machines offers tooled up, double ended Face Milling and Centring Machines. These have milling head operated by cross machine slide by hydraulic cylinder; the spindle is driven by electric motor, and the timing pulley set and hydraulic operated quill type centring head is driven by electric motor and vee pulley belt set. The job is clamped in a self-centring vice operated by hydraulic motors. The heavy fabricated machine base, which is fully stress relieved, maintains the spindle, clamping vice alignment to produce accurate jobs. The sequence of operation is job clamping in self-centring vice, both side face milling and centring, and job declamping by pressing a single push button. The machine is controlled by a hydraulic power pack and PLC electrical control unit. Optional accessories include VFD spindle drive, centre drill inspection gauge, auto lubrication unit, chip conveyor, etc. The total machine power is 17.5 HP, and five models are available to cover job lengths ranging from 200 mm to 3000 mm. The face milling dia is 20 to 170 mm, and centre drill size A2.5 (B1.6) to A6.3 (B5.0). Applications: used for jobs, which require face milling and centring; and useful to aerospace, agricultural equipments, air conditioning, automotive gears, electric motor, railway and many more industries. The company also develops special purpose centring and facing machine tools.
