Hariss CNC lathes are universal slant bed type robust machines carefully engineered by a team of professionals with vast experience on machine tools. The design parameters ensure optimum utilisation of the machine. Some important standard features are: eight-station bidirectional programmable turrets, LM guides on Z axis and hardened and ground guideways with Turcite ? -lined slide on X-axis, high speed precision headstock; hydraulic tailstock: electronic hand wheel; automatic centralised lubrication; fully enclosed splash guard with automatic door attachment; efficient swarf disposal (chip conveyor is available optionally); copious flow of coolant. Available in centre lathe and chucking versions, the machines can take job lengths up to 500 mm. They are suitable for batch production of shafts as well as chuck held components.
