Metallizing Equipment Co Pvt Ltd (MEC®), a leading manufacturer of thermal spray equipment, has now introduced Arcjet® 101 Gun, with wire feeding device outside of the gun thereby making it extremely light weight with no moving parts. Ideally suited for manually working on steel surface for Anti-Corrosion Coating through use of zinc and aluminium wires, it is powered by 600 A power supply (420 V/3-phase/50-60 Hz). It also has high velocity option for providing dense coating.

The system consists of:

• Arcjet 101 gun
• Power source 600 A with built-in control panel (420 V/3-phase/50-60 Hz)
• Wire drive unit with wire spool stand
• Wire drum dispenser (optional) – 02 units
• Safety equipment

This coating system has most utility for following anticorrosion applications: offshore platforms, metal structures, wind mill structures, ship and boat structures, bridges, bearings, tanks and vessels, power plants, railway projects, steel rebar, etc.
