Hydraulically Controlled Cylindrical Grinder

The hydraulically controlled cylindrical grinder KelUniversal 600 U for OD-, ID- and face grinding features a distance between centres of 600 mm, optionally 1,000 and 1,500 mm, and a variable height of centres of 175 to 250 mm. The internal grinding spindle has a diameter of 80 mm. The sturdy workhead has a capacity of 150 kg between centres. For clamped workpieces a roundness of 0.5 5 m is achieved as standard and 0.2 5 m as an option. By manual swivelling of the pneumatically supported spindle head the grinding wheels are moved to their respective working positions. The machine is intended for the manufacture of small batches of components or of prototype pieces and for use in tool and die maker shops, maintenance shops and special machine construction.
