Cylindrical Grinding Machines

Hariss Machines offers Cylindrical Grinding Machines, Model HHE/HHU 45/60-S/A. The bed is made of high-grade cast iron adequately ribbed with box structure design, which provides high rigidity. The automatic table movement is hydraulic and infinitely variable. The wheel head spindle is of alloy steel heat treated and ground and runs on anti friction bearing arrangement. The drive is by a dynamically balanced electric motor through Vee belts. The grinding wheel flange and spindle pulley seat on taper ends of the spindle. The wheel head unit can be swivelled from 0 to 60° for angular grinding. The workhead spindle is of alloy steel, hardened and ground and runs on antifriction bearings. A 60 x 250 mm (18000 RPM) internal grinding spindle is supplied as standard equipment. The in-feed roller guideways are grease packed for life and the table slide is provided with automatic lubrication. The standard coolant system assures a copious flow of coolant and the coolant tank placed at back of the machine. Optionally magnetic or paper cum magnetic filtration systems can be provided. All the hydraulic elements are fitted on a single block and hydraulic power pack tank is placed outside for easy access. The machine is complete with electric motors and all electricals suitable for 3-phase 400/440 V 50 Hz AC supply, housed in a panel box outside the machine.
