CoroMill 390 milling cutter

The new heavy-duty long edge cutter with is fitted with 18-mm inserts covering heavy to light operations. The new cutter is an effective remover providing a high output relatively available spindle power. The 18-rnm inserts, in positive geometry, cuts effectively and allows high table feed generating low power consumption and low noise level. High precision insert seats manufactured in the cutter body after hardening gives the edges accurate 90 degrees position and close run out -this generates surfaces with minimal mismatch between continuous passes. Under favorable conditions this can reduce the need for further finish machining. The full programme of CoroMill 390 insert radii and geometries fit to the new long edge cutter which gives possibilities for the industry to optimise most milling operations.
