Sandvik Asia offers SAF 2507 tubes. These are made of super-duplex stainless steel, and designed specifically for service in aggressive chloride-containing environments. The grade is characterized by excellent resistance to stress corrosion cracking (SCC) in chloride-bearing environments, pitting and crevice corrosion and to general corrosion. Due to its high mechanical strength and physical properties, it is used in desulphurisation units, oil and gas, paper and pulp production, oil refining and petrochemical, chemical processing to name a few industries.
