Tricon offers a Laboratory Food Mixer/Emulsifier from Stephan, Germany. The versatile UMC 5- and 12-litre lab mixer/emulsifier is available for capacities up to 2.5- and 6-litre, as a complete self-contained unit, designed to handle a wide range of operations involved in food/pharma product development like size reduction, mixing, homogenising for wet spices and nut pastes, mayonnaise, meat emulsions, gels, ointments, syrups, powder mixtures and emulsions. The design of the bowl and blades ensures thorough circulation and intermixing of the products in a very short time. Other features also include, variable speed drive 300-3000 RPM, indirect heating up to 95°C and cooling with D/J, temperature probe with digital readout, processing under vacuum, and interchangeable cutting blades. Liquid ingredients can be ciphered into the running machine with vacuum. The UM/SK 5 mixer cooker and UMC 5 mixer is ideal for food product development and pharma applications and used by most R&D labs.
