AC Servo Motor

Unique Systems & Control offers a range of Servo Motors, Stepping Motors and Stepping Motor Controllers. Uni-Step AC servo motors are three lead type, suitable for operation on 240 V, single phase supply. A single pole three-position switch is required for forward, reverse and off control. The torque output of the motor is directly proportional to the supply voltage. Features: rotates in either direction; start/stop and reversal practically instantaneous; speed on 50 Hz mains is 60 RPM; no heavy in rush of current at the start; shaft can be stalled forcibly without any damage to the motor; and low basic speed eliminates the complex gear train in many applications. Uni-Step motors can be started with load rigidly connected to its shaft. However, there is limit to the inertial load with which the motor will start from rest. The loads having momentum of inertial exceeding the specified value may be coupled loosely allowing approximately 5 degree of free shaft rotation, if the application allows this freedom.
