MicroLogix Embedded Controls offers Stepper Drives, MSB-808. It is with 64 microsteps. It is a versatile micro stepping stepper motor drive suitable for 4, 6 and 8 wire stepper motors. This high current, high voltage drive is suitable up to 80 V and 8 A of operation which means up to 200 kg.cm stepper motors can be controlled. It also features automatic standby mode for reduced motor heating. The 46 kHz chopper frequency drives motors with short electrical time constants. MSB-808 provides the user with two modes of control to choose from, pulse and direction or internal oscillator. Desired operating mode can be chosen by using an on-board DIP switch. Additional enable input also used during internal oscillator mode for motor control. Various operating parameters can be configured using the on-board DIP switches. Applications: banking machines, office automation, telecommunication, printing machines, medical equipments, machine tools, industrial automation, machine for wood working, textile machineries, spot lights, machines for farm and food industries, etc. Features: high frequency Mosfet chopper drive; wide operating voltage up to 80 V DC; selectable motor current up to 8 A; microstep selection up to 64; pulse and direction or internal oscillator control; and automatic current reduction (standby).
