MicroLogix Embedded Controls offers DC Motor Drives, DCDT 708. It is suitable for up to 500 W DC motors, with tacho/ encoder feedback. This 70 V, 8 A drive utilises the latest DSP and surface mount technology for a very compact design. Built-in PID algorithm provides a very stable speed throughout the torque range. The drive is protected against a variety of faults which makes it very rugged. This drive comes with a PC software utility that configures the drive for a wide range of applications, also plots the motor speed and current on the screen for easy PID loop tuning. Applications: medical equipments, industrial automation, textile machineries, printing machines, machine tools, hand tools, laboratory equipments, machine for wood working. Features: DSP based design; operating voltage up to 70 V DC; programmable motor current up to 8 A; tacho/ encoder feedback for closed loop control; PID algorithm for precise torque and speed control; PC algorithm for precise torque and speed control; and PC software to configure the drive for wide range of applications.
