3 Stage Vertical Wet Fume Scrubber

Associated Metal Finishers offers a wide range of 3 stage vertical wet fume scrubber. These rectangular vertical 3 stage wet fume scrubbers are based on the design of the US-based KCH - the world leader in pollution control sector. Typically, the workings of these scrubbers are based on the suction and delivery of the low-pressure blowers that are used. Fumes from the plating /anodizing/chemical etching, electro polishing or any source are sucked in by the blower in the inlet. From the outlet the fumes enter the bottom end of the scrubbers in a downward direction towards the fresh water in the sump. The sump is a specially designed and has a vertical 1 HP PP pump with SS 316 shaft. Here about 60% of the fumes get absorbed; next the air pressure gets reduced considerably and slightly static atmosphere prevails thus enabling the contaminated air moving in an upward direction to mix with polypropylene rashing rings which as required and this absorbs the chemicals present in the polluted air. The water spray is done by specially made PP fan jet spray nozzles, which cover a very large surface area. The balance 40% of the fumes gets neutralised in this process. The effluent or spent solution must be sent by a release valve directly to the effluent tank or to the main effluent line. The rashing rings and mist eliminators must be washed once in every 3 months and serviced. Keep the external surface of the scrubber clean so that the environment would also be clean.
