Fume Exhaust Blower

  • Exhaust blowers are an integral part of any surface engineering line with anodizing, chemical milling, hard chrome, complete etching lines or to remove toxic fumes from any process system.
  • The blowers are made from polypropylene, PVC, PVC+FRP, MS, SS and in some cases HDPE. Exhaust blowers are usually low pressure blowers, made by direct drive or indirect drive depending on the work load.
  • The impellers are usually made from PP, PVC+FRP, MS, SS and in some cases PTFE coated. The bush plate is usually made from mild steel or SS and over this it’s coated with FRP and then the blades are made according to the curvature needed. Also depending on the suction of the fume, the number of blades would be fabricated for the impeller.
  • The completed impellers would go for balancing on a balancing m/c and later plated into the blower.
  • The housing are generally made from MS or SS, PVC, PP+FRP or MS+FRP. The housing must be coated (FRP) or epoxy painted for longer life. The main frame made from MS or SS is to hold the housing in its place. The motor wire is of reputed make such as, ABB, Kirloskar, Crompton Greaves, Bajaj, etc. and it must cover three faces since the driving power is better. The final painting was epoxy paint of at least two coats and file tested for at least eight hours
