Xtech Equipment has introduced the Darda hydraulic rock drill model DH-203 that makes rock drilling easy and economical for the first time. This is designed for drilling of blast and anchor holes as well as test drilling in granite, rock and concrete. DH-203 is suitable for drilling hole Ø25 mm – 65 mm. The salient features of this rock drill are: diesel consumption – just 1 litre per hour; weight – 20 kg; four settings for blow frequency and rotation – drilling can be adjusted to suit the type of rock; on first position, it can work as a light duty breaker; and built-in compressor for flushing out debris – a distinct advantage. A portable and lightweight hydraulic power pack with the option of diesel/petrol engine powers this equipment. The entire system can be carried to difficult sites that are inaccessible for heavy compressors.
