Lubricators For Coil-Strips

Millutensil of Italy specialise in the manufacture of Coil Lubrication Systems for the sheet metal industry. The felt is produced from pure Marino wool. The system consists of a pair of felt-rollers immersed in oil, through which the strip passes. The oil reaches the periphery of the rolls through the slots inside the metallic frame of the rolls. The top roll presses against the coil through spring pressure. There are several models, covering the range of roll widths from 10 mm to 1,200 mm. Similarly, the diameter of the rolls too is available in many sizes, being 32, 60, 110 mm; the last one being a motorised version. Another version of rolls, in dia 60 mm, has brushes instead of felt. The supply of oil to these rollers is provided by Millutensil's Metering Units (Dosage Systems) which supply the oil gradually to the lubricator rolls either by gravity or under a low-pressure. These units supply the oil independently to the two rollers, and automatically stop the flow of oil when the machine stops. These are interlinked with the electrical circuit of the press in such a way that in the event of low level of lubricating oil in the tank, the press is stopped automatically. This cycle is triggered by a float switch inside the tank.
