These transmissions manufactured for Dozers, Dump Trucks and Motor Graders are planetary type with wet disc clutch system. The clutches are operated by 'modulating valve' built on the transmission. The speeds are changed by forward and reverse spool type control Valves. Equal forward and reverse gears are well suited for cyclic, smooth and easy operation. Hydraulic Control Valve helps in effortless operation and smart response.
The transmissions manufactured for combat vehicles are mechanical multistage type with constant mesh gear, in-built with main clutch, planetary steering mechanisms, hydro-pneumatic braking system with connected hydraulic control system. Synchronisers are used in the gear box for easier and noiseless shifting of Gears. The gear box control system consist of mechanical linkages and servo hydraulic mechanism.
