Axles
These are full floating, planetary axles built up with wet multiple disc brakes, differentials and final drives. Alloy steel is used for spindle casting of front axle and housing structure of rear axle. Heavy duty four pinion differentials are provided with antifriction bearings for positive traction on wheels and a robust, outboard, planetary reduction with fully floating axle shaft minimises stress on the drive line. Wet multiple disc brakes with special alloy cast iron face seals ensure low down time and highly reliable braking performance. Self adjusting, disc type parking brake, mounted on input pinion provides maintenance free and reliable grade hold performance.
