Sandvik Steel is a producer of tube and pipe, strip, wire, bar and hollow bar for many advanced applications. The products are made of stainless and high-alloy steels and of special alloys based on nickel, titanium and zirconium. The company has more than 20 production plants in 13 countries all over the world. It employs about 6,500 people, of which half are at the main facilities in Sandviken, Sweden. Seamless tubes are available in stainless steels and special alloys based on nickel, titanium and zirconium, in a wide assortment of steel grades. The outside diameter is 0.4-260 mm in straight lengths, coils or bends. There are standard products as well as specialised products for niches with high technical demands.
