Ceramic Band Heaters

Anupam ceramic insulated band heaters are made out of good quality channels and 80/20 English Nichrome wires of appropriate gauge.Ceramic channels with heating coils are given ceramic fibre cover as an insulation to reduce power consumption.The ceramic elements are assembled in high quality stainless steel housings. Inside cover can be provided on request to avoid material leakage in ceramic channels. The terminals are covered with SS box to avoid falling of any material on terminals and for the purpose of safety. Heat transfer in this is by the radiation principle. Therefore pressure on the heating surface is not required compared to mica heater. Maximum watt density of 8 watt per sq cm can be achieved. These heaters are used in injection moulding, extruding machines, chemical vessels, cable and other industries.
