Air Pre-Heaters

Bharat Heavy Electricals offers Air Pre-Heater. This is auxiliary equipment used for energy recovery in steam boilers. It is a heat exchanger that absorbs heat from the exit flue gas in boiler and transfers the heat to the cold air. In utility and process boilers it is used to heat the air required for combustion, increasing the overall efficiency of the plant. This is broadly classified as recuperative type (tubular heater, plate type heater and steam coil heater) and regenerative type. Efficient heat transfer surfaces and counter flow arrangements make air pre-heater a vital and efficient heat exchanger.
