Kevlar Conveyor Belt for Glass

TUFF TEMP high temperature resistant Conveyor Belts meet all the criteria required in manufacturing of hot glass, such as superior temperature resistance, superior cut and abrasion resistance, and superior mechanical performance. These belts will NOT check, scratch or mark even the most sensitive surface of hot glassware. These belts are the longest lasting, most durable conveyor belts in glass application. Belts are manufactured with mechanically enhanced Kevlar yarns, as well as other high temperature resistant specialty fibers, and is high-density, multi-layered weaving, to create thick, tough, and ultra-durable belts. Value-added finishing treatments are further applied to the belts to enhance the end use durability and strengthen the mechanical performance. Belts are pre-stretched under tension in finishing process resulting in elimination of belt stretch. All belts are available in a wide range of widths, thickness, and plies. TUFF TEMP belting is used throughout the industry in the hot end of glass Pressware and Hollowware plants to convey hot ware from the press molds on up to the entrance of the annealing lehr. These belts are used by many of the leading Pressware and Hollowware manufacturers, where glass contact temperatures are the hottest. The belt has proven temperature resistance up to 760º C for intermittent contact.
