DRY FLUID COOLERS

Artic Aircon offers Dry Fluid Coolers. It is a non-refrigerated air-cooled fluid cooler. It offers major benefits for the cooling of liquids at temperature above ambient. Options include pumps, tanks, controls, valves, etc. The dry fluid coolers can be free standing or mounted with original equipment for various applications. It is designed to dissipate from 20,000 to 85,000 BTH/hr of heat with a 30ºF entering temperature differential between ambient air and the water to be cooled. The BTU rating will increase as the temperature differential increases. The BTU rating for a specific unit will decrease when cooling a water/ glycol solution. Benefits of the dry cooler units include: compact design minimises the footprint; industrial duty components offer highly reliable and continuously rated service; stabilised liquid temperatures increase the life of tools, welding tips and other equipment, reducing maintenance cost, and downtime while improving part-to-part repeatability; a closed-loop cooling system will reduce water costs; the units with tank, pump and control panel are completely self-contained; and only connection to power supply and coolant lines is required, with no other components needed for automatic and safe operation. The base unit comes with a fan and standard coil for water. A tank, pump or electrical panel can be added to make a complete self-contained unit. Applications for dry cooler: electrical equipment, seal cooling, plastic mould cooling, spot welder cooling, die cast operations, plasma torch cooling, seam welder cooling, TIG welder cooling, etc.
