Process chillers are compact in design and easy to install. Salient features include: compact housing, powder-coated, maintenance friendly access to all components; fully hermetic compressor with integrated motor protection; CFC-free refrigerants R 134a or R407C; evaporator as plate heat exchanger/hydromiser coil in tank; prescribed monitoring and safety systems in refrigerant circulation; thermostatic expansion valve with MOP for limitation of evaporation pressure; air-cooled condenser with axial ventilator (low-noise, maintenance-free design); refrigerant circuit piping made of copper; filling and draining connection with level indication; temperature accuracy in the coolant exit up to ±2K; operating and freeze-up guard thermostat; operating switch with lamp/main switch; and collective alarm indicator. All modular cooling block systems of Eskimo make are compact, completely assembled and individually tested which can be used in a broad variety of technical applications, thanks to the many available options: machine tool construction; laser technology; plastics processing; printing machines; surface technology; food industry, and many more. The use of various CFC-free refrigerants requires additional optimisation of the housing geometry. These compact, powder-coated housings are exclusively equipped with technically advance components from renowned manufacturers. The components used in the electrical part of the cooling block systems meet all required industry standards. The cold water circuit and electrical circuits are designed in accordance with the specific requirements of customer applications. The refrigerant circuit and housing technology have been standardized. This guarantees a consistently high, and yet flexible, quality for series production.
