Vishay Components India offers ESTAdry ACMKP Series of compact, three-phase, dry, aluminium-case power-factor-correction [PFC] capacitors. The polypropylene film capacitors are made suitable for power factor correction in applications up to 1000 V. Also, over-current capability up to three times the rated current and inrush capability up to 300 times the rated current make these the most durable and reliable PFC capacitors on the market. The output of the PFC capacitors is available from 5 kVAR to 30 kVAR [at 440 V standard rating] at losses below 0.25 W per kVAR.
