Castfil is a universal cold weld metal repair and maintenance system, and it is technically advanced, versatile, durable, two part epoxy based compound with special wear resistant additives for maintenance and repair of a broad range of equipment in all industries. This compound possesses high mechanical strength, bonds strongly to most metals and offers long life protection against wear, abrasion, corrosion, and chemicals, etc. It can be drilled, machined, tapped, or painted. These can be used in chemical, defence, fertiliser, mining, paper and pulp, railways, road transport, shipping, steel, textile, power-thermal, hydel/nuclear, and power stations, etc.
