Eagle Insulation offers Paper phenolic designed, formulated and prepared to meet specific industrial applications. These technical laminates undergo scientific manufacturing process and strict quality control. The laminates are prepared by pressing the multiple layers of resin impregnated filler materials in hydraulic press under high temperature and high pressure. The filler may be a web of kraft-paper or cotton fabric while the resin is phenol + formaldehyde resin. These laminates come in various grades, tailored to meet specific requirements of specific industrial applications. Manufactured by using multiple layers of kraft paper properly treated with phenolic resin, these laminates are used as insulation materials and they are classified on the basis of their electric properties and water absorption. Grade E-PI has very good mechanical and adequate electrical properties, suitable for low-tension, non-humid applications such as battery eliminator, transformer and shake bobbin, tubelight ends, control panel, condenser mountings, drill back-up and drill-entry and in bobbin industries. Grade E-P2 is a combination of good electrical and mechanical properties suitable for power industry and use in oil for applications such as transformer covers, CB handles and side frame, distribution board fuse holder base, etc. Grade E-P3 has electrical and mechanical properties, low water absorption suitable for high tension electric application even under tropical condition, such as transformer and choke bobbin for power electronic, relay spacers, HV transformer tap changers, grid covers, selector bank insulation, etc.
