Hydropower Engineering Systems offers hydraulic cylinders, designed and manufactured for dependability and performance in a wide range of hydraulic applications.Â
- Hydropower can offer standard cylinders, single and double acting, tie rod, welded construction in bore diameters of 40 mm to 500 mm. Stroke lengths up to 3,000 mm and operating pressure up to 300 bar, mounting ends are designed to customer requirements. The piston rods are hard chrome plated.
- The cylinders possess components namely, piston rods, ports, seals and pressure rating.
- EN-8 materials are ground hard and chrome plated. Special rod of induction-hardened, end styles and sizes are available.
- BSP, NPTF or SAE O ring ports can be arranged at any position related to cylinder mounting.
- Seals: All cylinders incorporate seals suitable for use with petroleum-based fluids from -20oC to 60oC. The various seals material options are PU, Viton, PTFE and Nitrile.
- Hydropower cylinders are rated for maximum 300 bar (4,200 PSI) continuous operation. Hydropower also provides cylinders for special applications requiring higher pressure.
