The Shaft Encoder is the most precision measuring instruments, i.e. transducing angle speed and distance. Output is available in the form of pulses, incremental step by step in counter or processor. Direction can be obtained with the help of two trains of pulses in quadrature; one index position pulse is available.
Opto- electronic system mechanical precision component and assembly; type of output - RS 422 (TTL) or push-pull or HTL or PNP or NPN; low resolution 10-500 PPR; precision range 250-1000 PPR, shaft size 6-10 or 6-19 or 11-30 mm; number of channel 3 or 6; type of mounting servo with clamp or face mounting; protection class ? P66/ P55; and optional in heavy-duty versions.
