Geomet® is developed as a chromium-free solution to the environmental regulations enacted by the governments and automotive industry. It is a water-based, VOC compliant coating comprised of overlapping zinc and aluminium flakes in an inorganic binder. Geomet is ELV and RoHS compliant. The process has many advantages then the conventional zinc plating and hot dip galvanizing.
