Promtech Chemicals Pvt Ltd offers Zinkote - 20, an excellent, extremely quick drying, touch-up, metal flakes rich Zinc Paint for use as cold galvanizing paint on mild steel parts and offer ultimate corrosion resistance. Surface to be coated shall be free from oil/grease/dust/dirt/rust and other foreign matters. Zinkote - 20 is for highest degree of corrosion protection applications. Zinkote - 20 offers a very tough bright coating and will touch dry within 5-10 minutes, leaving a very uniform zinc metal powder coating on the coated substrate. Due to horizontal packing of zinc flakes in the dry film, Zinkote -20 painted surfaces become extremely passive to atmospheric oxidation and completely prevents rusting of iron metal. Over-coating, if necessary, may be done after 1 hr with all types of paints, lacquers, epoxies, CRPs, etc. One litre of Zinkote - 20 will give 10-12 sq.mt coverage and will deposit 18-22 microns coating by single coat spray/dip. As lab tests conducted by the company, the coated surface passes 1000 hrs fog chamber salt spray test and has excellent adhesion, scratch resistance and anti-corrosion properties. Zinkote - 20 is much superior in its anti-corrosion properties, compared to the conventional zinc phosphate/zinc chromate primers used as an under-coat. The CFC free, RoHS compliant zinc bright sprays and very user friendly, quite suitable for on-site applications. Applications are for all types of mild steel fabrication working in high temperature, high humidity areas, power plants, transmission lines towers, lighting poles, cable trays, sub-station erection/maintenance, chimneys and stacks, scaffoldings and formworks, W-channels, every type of hot dip galvanized metals, tubes, angles, channels, strips, I-beams, factory trusses, automobile exhaust system components, pipes and ducting, steel buildings, canopies, false ceilings, air conditioning ducts, tubes and pipes, chemical plants and pipelines, ship building, off-shore platforms fabrications, under-body coating for four wheelers, etc.
