Hoffman Engg Company's Type 1 Wireway in galvanized steel is for use in a variety of commercial environments where dust, dirt, oil, and water are not serious problems. It is intended to protect general electrical wiring, computer, conimunications, and fibre-optic cables, and complies with UL 870 Type 1; NEMA/EEMAC Type 1, CSA Type 1; and EEC 529 IP 30. All sections and fittings are completely open to one side so wires and cables can be laid in along an entire wireway run. No pull-through of wires or cables is required with this design. Covers are held firmly closed with captivated screw fasteners.
