LAPP has launched the ÖLFLEX® HEAT 700 SC, a high-temperature-resistant cable designed to withstand temperatures up to 700°C. This latest innovation is showcased at Hannover Messe 2025 (Hall 11, Stand C15).

While standard industrial cables with PVC sheaths can endure temperatures of 70-90°C, industries where heat levels exceed 100°C require specialised heat-resistant cables. LAPP, a global leader in cable and connection technology, has expanded its ÖLFLEX® HEAT portfolio with this latest addition, ensuring safe and reliable power supply in high-temperature environments.

Optimised design for maximum heat resistance

The ÖLFLEX® HEAT 700 SC offers improved electrical conductivity and dielectric strength thanks to its nickel-plated copper conductors—a significant enhancement over its predecessor’s pure nickel strands. Its insulation consists of a multi-layer glass fiber covering and a glass fiber braid, enhancing heat resistance and safety.

“The interplay between the conductor material and insulation allows the cable to withstand extreme temperatures,” explains Felix Graner, Product Manager, LAPP. The cable's halogen-free, flame-retardant composition also minimises fire propagation risks.
