Nano Clear is a water repellent treatment for windshields, a nano technology based water/dust repellent for easy cleaning and visibility enhancing treatment. It is a coating solution formulated from functionalised nano-particles, which when applied to glass and ceramic substrates confers durable, long lasting water repellent, dust repellent, UV resistant, easy cleaning and anti-glare properties on the applied surface. Water spreading on untreated glass results in poor visibility. Water does not spread on Nano Clear treated glass, but forms beads and rolls down resulting in significantly improved visibility. Under rainy conditions, slippery roads and poor visibility combine to increase the likelihood of accidents. Indeed, when it rains, water droplets tend to spread on the glass surface impeding the driver’s visibility. Water repellent coatings can improve a driver’s visual acuity by nearly 34% and response time by 25%. On glass treated with water repellent coating, water droplets do not adhere to the surface but retain a spherical shape and are removed by the air stream generated by the movement of the vehicle. Water forms as tiny pearls of moisture, which are blown away as the car increases speed, leaving the glass panel clearer and cleaner. In addition Nano Clear Treatment reduces reflections and thus significantly reduces glare from headlamps of oncoming vehicles, thereby allowing you to see much better while driving at night. Nano Clear is available in the form of kits, suitable for easy application. Each kit contains glass activator powder, coating solutions, application cloth and detailed instructions.
