Microtech runs a welding shop capable of welding any known material from titanium and aluminium to stainless steel and plain iron. The processes are TIG, MIG and MAG. X-ray inspection of the welding is done on-site.
Microtech established in 1997 with one CNC milling machine to cater to the needs of aerospace industry. Under the guidance of HAL team, Microtech started manufacturing Tail Gear Box Housings for Cheetah & Chetak and ALH (Dhruv) helicopters. Microtech is associated with HAL Helicopter, Engine, Aircraft, LCA Divisions of Bangalore and ADA and developed precision Components including Gear Boxes Bulk Heads, Longerons and others.
