Troffer lights have an output equivalent to 2 x 36 W CFL and that save 60 percent energy over CFLs. Troffer lights have a total output power of 40 Watts and have 32 LEDs. Troffer lights have longer life, i.e., more than 50,000 hours enabling a fit it and forget it solution. The light also has an in-built over voltage and short circuit protection.
