The Lenze MCS synchronous servo motors is the right choice for users looking for the utmost in dynamic, high-precision performance in an extremely compact package. With a power range from 0.25 kW to 10.0 kW and a rated torque range of 0.5 Nm to 51 Nm with peak torque values of up to 191 Nm, these motors will satisfy all of needs for compact and dynamic drive technology. The stator winding of the MCS motors is combined from individual coils using the innovative Single Element Pole Technology, or SEpT for short. Specially designed pole forms and high-quality magnetic materials form the basis for their excellent drive characteristics. The result is a significant increase in power density with a simultaneous reduction of the moments of inertia. The reduction of detent torques to an absolute minimum produces a drive, which runs exceptionally smoothly and offers excellent control response characteristics. The robust mechanical design with reinforced bearings and a high degree of protection increase operational safety and reliability even under harsh ambient conditions.
