The bearing is mainly designed for high radial loads and heavy axial loads in a single direction. Typically, these bearings tend to support a rotating shaft in the bore of the shaft washer which can sometime get misaligned in respect to the housing washer. The misalignment can occur due to the spherical internal shape of the house washer.
