TFI Filtration (India) Pvt Ltd offers a range of Sintered Metal Filter Cartridges, manufactured using SS 316L powder/fibre/woven mesh. Powder filter cartridges have 32-35% opening area and filtration efficiency up to 0.1 micron; fibre filter cartridges have 70-80% opening area and filtration efficiency up to 1 micron; and wiremesh filter cartridges have 25-40% opening area and filtration efficiency up to 10 micron. The company offers sintered SS 316L membranes having filtration efficiency up to 0.1 micron. All sintered SS 316L cartridges are cleanable and reusable, and are vacuum sintered near melting point of stainless steel, i.e., 1250°C. These cartridges come with rigid pore structure with absolute filtration efficiency, and are very much useful for high temperature gases filtration up to 800°C. Features include high temperature resistance, high bursting and tensile strength, with excellent corrosion resistance. The company also offers sintered bronze filter cartridges in customized sizes. These are mainly useful for compressed air, liquid oxygen and silencing for filtration efficiency of 5 to 50 micron. Bronze filter cartridges have wall thickness of 1-1.5 mm and differential pressure resistance up to 2-3 bar. These are cleanable type, but still require replacement within a year or so because of green microbial corrosion due to moisture.
