Teadit 24 BF is a PTFE joint sealant tape made from pure PTFE with a dimension-stabilising filler material. It has been developed for demanding sealing applications. Advantages: better dimensional stability than conventional PTFE joint sealant, higher residual stress values. Application areas: high gasket pressure, large flanges and vessels, thermal cycling. Technical data: density (at delivery): ? = 1.0g/cm3; temperature range – -240ºC up to +270ºC; pressure – from vacuum up to 200 bar; pH 0 –13; gasket parameter, assembly? vu/0.01 = 32 MPa; and gasket parameter operational m0.01 = 2.5.
