Woodmaster (India) manufactures primary processing machinery for bamboo, and is currently working on the secondary range. The primary machinery includes cross cutting, manual and radial splitter, parallel splitter, outside and inside knot removing machinery, slicing machine. These are the basic machines useful to manufacture any industrial product out of bamboo. Secondary purpose machines like two-side planer and four-side planer will be used for making bamboo slats. The slats will be joined together with the help of adhesive in gluing machine and assembler in the form of board or bamboo planks, the board can be used in place of particle or MDF board. The other product that can be manufactured is sticks for incense sticks with the help of the stick-making machine. Different diameters can be achieved by changing the shaping tools. The stick can be polished in the stick-polishing machine and cut to size in a stick-sizing machine. Other bamboo products that can be manufactured with these machines are: slivers for making mats - with the help of hot press and gluing, bamboo sliver board can be manufactured; corrugated sheets of bamboo can easily replace cement corrugated sheets as these are unbreakable and are cooler than the cement sheets; flooring tiles.
