Power Packs
Carter Hydraulic Power designs, manufactures and supplies both stationary and mobile hydraulic power packs. These power packs are designed to meet functional requirements of the system; and can be altered suit customers’ specifications, climatic conditions and working environment. The power packs are usually solenoid operated. Electric panels (IP55 protection) may be integral with power packs. Special power packs (mobile) to cater to customers’ needs are also supplied. The system can be retrofitted in vehicles for different sub-system operations. Specifications: hydraulic tank – MS fabricated construction; pump type – gear/vane/centrifugal – suitable for working in open and dusty environment; pressure settings – as per application requirement; pressure controls – line/sub plate mounted pilot controlled primary and secondary relief valves; components used are of reputed make; direction control – sub plate/manifold block mounted 24 V DC controlled with motor spool; fail safe devices like hose failure safety valves, pressure switch, etc., including electrical interlocking between various functions/phases of operations are normally provided; flow control – line mounted/sub plate mounted on ram base end of the cylinders with “metering out†features; easy access for maintenance; prime mover – electric motor, up to 40 HP, 1440 RPM or more as per requirement; motor control – star delta or any other suitable method; functional control – through electric panel of IP55 protection; supply voltage – 440 V, 3-phase, 50 Hz, 3-wire, remote control is also possible from a distance; and recommended oil: ISO VG 32-68.
