Branson Ultrasonics, the world’s major resource for Plastic Joining Technologies, has developed DCX A, which has Process Control and DCX F, which has Process Control + Ethernet I/P Field bus for more advanced applications. This offers all benefits of DCX S but with enhanced weld parameter settings to achieve consisted weld quality through continuous systems monitoring and closed-loop control of the welding process. The advanced communications capability and transparent information flow ensure that the DCX A & DCX F can be integrated efficiently into a complex automated processing application. DCX F power supply includes the capability of being controlled and parameterised by a PLC over a Field bus network providing real-time distributed control in an individual network.
These units are available in three different frequencies – 40 kHz at 400 W, 800 W; 30 kHz at 750 W, 1500 W; and 20 kHz at 1250 W, 2500 W, 4000 W. The DCX A & F offers a powerful web-based interface that comes standard on all DCX power supplies. This eliminates costly software and dedicated computer hardware that often leads to a loss of productivity and time.
