These are available in flange diameter sizes of 30" (762 mm), 32" (813 mm), 35" (889 mm) 42" (1069 mm), 45" (1143 mm) and 50"(1270 mm) in polyfibre composite – PolypackTM. Applications: bare or insulated conductor of either aluminium or copper; plastic tubing, rubber hose; CATV cable; fibre optics cable; and aluminium tubing. Construction: flanges are compression moulded; recycled thermoplastic with wood fibre enforcement; and fibre or wood stave drums. Advantages: safer package – no splinters, sharp edges or nails; longer life; lighter weight than wood or steel reels; smooth payoff; ease of handling; reusable; and damaged flanges can be reused.
