Pneumatic Cylinders
Heavy-duty, medium pressure pneumatic cylinders from Luthra are available in a wide range of bore sizes from 19 to 350 mm and stroke length up to 4.5 metre. The cylinders are sturdy construction and based on original American design. Various models available, viz, double/single acting, double/single ended, tandem, linear air motor (automatic to and fro movement of piston rod with only one inlet connection). Materials used: low carbon steel seamless tube honed to 0.3 micron and hard chrome plated to 65 RC; covers made of cast iron/aluminium oxidised and high tensile piston rod; and seals of nitrile self adjusting and oil resistant. Adjustable cushioning is provided/optional. Custom made cylinders, viz, extended piston rod/larger diameter piston rod for heavy load bearing are also available, and crimped type mini series pencil cylinders in bore 19/25 up to 40 mm. The cylinders are designed for a low friction coefficient ensuring long trouble free and reliable performance.
