Open Path Gas Detector TGAES

Open Path Gas Detector TGAES

The TGAES hydrocarbon gas detector is an open path infrared gas detection system that provides continuous monitoring of combustible hydrocarbon gas concentrations in the range of 0 to 1,5 LEL/m, 0-2,5 LEL/m, 0-5 LEL/m, over a distance of 5 to 200 meters. Standard system outputs include 4-20 mA DC current output, with HART and RS-485 MODBUS communication.

• Power stations and petroleum and gas stations • Storage of combustive-lubricating materials • Tank ships and other vessels • Vanish and dye industry • Storage of oily products • Oil and gas industry • LNG/PNG processing and storage

Supply Voltage (both units) : 24 VDC Operating from 18 to 32 VDC Power Consumption : Transmitter 15W Receiver 15W Transmitter lamp : One ultra reliable xenon flash- lamp Detectable Gases : Methane, propane, ethane, butane, isobutene, pentane, cyclopentane, hexane, propylene, methanol Visual indicators : Tri colour LED Red – Alarm Yellow – Fault Green – Normal Operation mode Detection range : From 5 to 200m Output signals : 4-20 mA, HART, RS-485 Modbus RTU, “dry contact” relay Response time : T90: <5Sec

• TGAES System is equivalent of eight fixed gas detectors • Low power consumption • Detect methane and most hydrocarbon gases including methane, ethane, propane, butane, and propylene • Analog, relay and digital outputs • 5-200m meters distance • Resistance to fog and high humidity • Wide range of operating temperature • Equal sensitivity to main hydrocarbons • High sensitivity to main hydrocarbons • High sensitivity and longevity over 10 years • Protection from direct contract with contaminants • Stainless steel construction
