Hoisting gearboxes are used in cranes, and are totally enclosed in dust proof construction. The gears run in oil bath and hence no external lubrication is required. The pinions are of EN 24 and gears are of EN 9 and 24. Gears and pinions are precision machined. The shafts rotate on anti-friction type ball/roller bearings.
