Agro Engineers manufactures heavy duty industrial gearboxes at very competitive prices and on tight delivery schedules. The gear case is usually made of close grain cast iron or structural steel. The worm shafts, helical gears and pinions are made of hardened alloy steel of suitable grade. Worm gears are made of phosphor bronze. All gears are generated on hobbing machines. All bearings are taper roller type of long life and high load bearing capacity. Apart from standard range, gear-boxes are also tailormade to suit individual requirement or as per specifications provided. These are made of the following specifications: type of teeth-spur, helical or worm; maximum centre distance-500 mm; minimum centre distance- 60 mm; output shaft-parallel or perpendicular to the input shaft; metal used-pinion and worm shafts of alloy steel duly hardened, worm gear of phosphor bronze, or any specified metal.
